Supporting St George’s School Ethiopia
Twenty mothers from Broomwood have reached the summit of Testa Bernada (2,533 metres) in aid of our sponsor school St George’s, Ethiopia. They climbed in thick fog and rain and after seven hours of hiking they arrived at the top – but sadly, to no stunning views of Mont Blanc.
The trekkers have raised nearly £40,000 and would love a few more sponsors to get them over the milestone. St George’s School was established in 2011 to educate children born into extreme poverty in the Gondar region of Ethiopia.
