Welcome to Broomwood, a leading group of pre-prep and prep schools united under one name to offer an excellent education for boys and girls from the age of 3-13.
Children at Broomwood are educated together at Little Broomwood and Broomwood Pre-Prep, before moving to their own schools, Broomwood Prep – Boys and Broomwood Prep – Girls. Here, they take advantage of a broad and tailored education, within a single-sex learning environment but unlike regular single-sex schools, they come together for specialist activities in a co-educational setting.
Formerly known as Northcote Lodge, Broomwood Hall Upper and Broomwood Hall Lower, the schools joined forces in September 2023 under one brand – Broomwood. This gives our children the opportunity to share in the educational expertise across all the schools. It also means they have access to all the facilities and will take in co-ed activities, including selected sports and shared trips.
We encourage our pupils to work together and continue friendships established during the early years. At the age of 11 or 13 they depart for some of the top senior schools in the country, both London day or boarding schools.
Building on the excellent education that the schools are already known for (last year’s ISI Inspection rated all of them ‘excellent’) the schools are led by one Principal, with separate collaborative heads at each site.
