At Little Broomwood, we understand how important the early years are for the development of your child. Our aim is to nurture young minds, preparing children for an outstanding education in a friendly home-like environment. Little Broomwood is a pre-school exclusively for 3-and 4-year-olds and is set in the peaceful Vicarage, on the site of Broomwood Pre-Prep. We have worked with specialist pre-school designers to create a state of the art learning space, providing a multi-sensory environment. Spending time outdoors is an important part of childhood, and the free-flow classrooms allow the children direct access to the garden and outside activities.
Little Broomwood provides a rigorous academic foundation, but never at the expense of a fulfilled and happy childhood. Lessons such as Music, Sport, and Art are taught by our specialist teachers. By the time a child has completed their time with us, they will have been taught the academic, social and emotional principles which will ensure that they thrive during the next part of their education. We want out pupils to leave us feeling confident and excited for Pre-Prep.
Healthy Home-Cooked Food:
We aim to educate the ‘whole’ child, and this includes ensuring they learn to appreciate and enjoy good, healthy food. At breaktimes they drink milk and/or water and are offered a variety of fruit, vegetables, and biscuits. Children staying for the whole day will have a nutritious hot lunch, cooked on site.
