We encourage all our families to visit us in person before deciding whether Broomwood is the right school for their child. The atmosphere and approach of our school is something we think you should experience for yourselves. We are very proud of our facilities and exam results, but the true spirit of our school is in the way that our children engage with us and we, we them. At Broomwood, pupils enjoy a proper childhood, and you will see this whether you join us at an Open Day or Private Tour.
We know that most of our parents are very busy, and we will do everything we can to be flexible, as seeing the school in full swing is well worth the effort! The Open Morning
We hold Open Mornings once or twice a term. During the visit you will have the opportunity to meet children, current parents and staff from different year groups. You will also have a comprehensive tour of the school with our pupils, review academic work and listen to a presentation from the senior team and meet the Heads.

Friday Group Tours
We also offer regular Friday morning Pre-Prep small group tours between 9am-10.30am. These are aimed at parents with younger children who are interested in Little Broomwood or Broomwood Pre-Prep (3-7 years old). Visitors join us for coffee from 9am and attend a short presentation and welcome from senior staff and form teachers, before touring the Pre-Prep buildings and meeting our children. These tours usually finish at 10.20am. If you would like to visit the Prep Schools (7-13 years old) please let us know and we will arrange for this to happen immediately afterwards.

Taster and Assessment Days: Inviting the children…
If your child is considering joining us after Reception, he or she is likely to be invited to a Taster and Assessment Day, during the Broomwood recruitment process. This is a chance to try some of the activities we have on offer and to experience something of our approach, and of course, to make friends with our current pupils. Depending on the age, there may be an interview and short assessment during this day. We will fully brief you beforehand so that your child knows what to expect.
