Broomwood Pre-Prep
The Pre-Prep school day is a full but rewarding one. School starts with ‘Meet and Greet’ and Registration between 8.15 and 8.35am followed by Assembly or Form Time at 8.35am.
Lessons start at 8.50am.
From then until home time, children are engaged in a range of lessons and activities, with breaks for milk and biscuits or fruit, for lunch and for morning and afternoon playtimes.

Please note that Monday to Thursday children finish at different times depending on age:
Little Broomwood (Pre-School)
Arrival: 8.15 – 8.30am
Departure: 12pm (morning sessions) 3pm (afternoon/full day sessions)
Reception
Arrival: 8.15 – 8.30am
Departure: 3.15pm
Year 1 & 2
Arrival: 8.15 – 8.30am
Departure: 3.30pm
After School Clubs finish: 4.45pm
*JAGS After School Care finish: 6pm
On Fridays all years at Broomwood Pre-Prep finish at 3.15pm.
Before And After School Care
Early Waiters’ Club – runs from 7.30am each morning.
After School Clubs – we provide a snack for children attending after school clubs. The clubs are available from Reception onwards:
After school clubs: 3.45-4.45pm
After School Care – runs until 6pm, Mon-Fri. It is held by *Junior Adventures Group (JAG).

Broomwood Prep – Boys &
Broomwood Prep – Girls
Boys and girls start their day at 8am with a ‘meet and greet’.
Lessons start at 8.30, and in addition to the usual academic subjects, pupils have one long sports afternoon and at least one hour-long PE lesson.
Formal lessons finish at 4pm and pupils remain at school to do their prep till 5.20pm. They are dismissed between 5.20 and 5.30pm. They are then free to go home or stay on to attend after school clubs until 6.20pm.
