Exciting News! Ellie Aldridge, sister of our fantastic PE Teacher, Miss Holly Aldridge, who visited Broomwood in May, has just made history by winning the first-ever Olympic gold medal in women’s kiteboarding! 🥇🎉 Congratulations, Ellie!
When asked earlier this year by a pupil if you had won an Olympic medal your response was ‘I haven’t YET!’ This beautifully embodied our Broomwood ‘Yeti Power’ , where pupils learn that they might not be able to do something… ‘yet’.
