Broomwood Prep pupils have once again demonstrated outstanding success on the slopes, securing the national Mixed Team title at the English Schools National Indoor Open Ski Championships, held at The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead.
The competition brought together more than 200 racers from 73 schools across England and Wales, with participants travelling from as far afield as Yorkshire, Cheshire, Devon and Wales. Against this highly competitive field, the Broomwood team delivered an exceptional all-round performance to claim the team title.
This latest achievement follows their earlier success this season at the British Interschools Ski Challenge in Verbier, where Broomwood were crowned Prep School Champions. Competing against leading schools in an international alpine setting, the team demonstrated both skill and determination to secure the title – setting the tone for a remarkable season.
Their victory this week at the national indoor championships now builds on that momentum, underlining the strength and consistency of the squad across both indoor and alpine competition formats.
This has been a truly exceptional season for Broomwood skiing, reflecting the pupils’ commitment, teamwork and enthusiasm for the sport.
