Open Morning – Friday 2 October 2026
Join us at Broomwood in Clapham on Friday 2 October, from 10.00am to 12.30pm, and discover what makes our award-winning school such a special place to learn and grow. Tour our sites, meet our staff and pupils, and enjoy a variety of activities for families as you explore our nursery, pre-prep and prep provision. Hear from Principal and Head of Broomwood Boys, Michael Hodge, Head of Broomwood Girls, Louisa McCafferty, and Head of Pre-Prep, Caron Mackay, with two dedicated talks covering the Pre-Prep and Prep years. Families are welcome to book either or both talks.
Individual and Small Group Tours
Discover Broomwood at a pace that suits your family with a bespoke tour tailored to your child’s age and interests. Explore our facilities, see learning in action and discuss what matters most to you as you consider your child’s next school. Our Admissions team will help arrange your visit and answer your questions along the way.
We also offer regular Friday morning small group tours of Little Broomwood and Broomwood Pre-Prep, for families with children aged 3–7. Join us for coffee at 9.00am, followed by a short welcome and presentation from senior staff and form teachers, before exploring our Pre-Prep buildings and meeting our pupils. Tours usually finish at 10.20am, within the 9.00–10.30am session. If you would also like to explore our Prep schools for children aged 7–13, please let us know and we can arrange a visit immediately afterwards.
Taster and Assessment Days: Inviting the children…
If your child is considering joining us after Reception, he or she is likely to be invited to a Taster and Assessment Day, during the Broomwood recruitment process. This is a chance to try some of the activities we have on offer and to experience something of our approach, and of course, to make friends with our current pupils. Depending on the age, there may be an interview and short assessment during this day. We will fully brief you beforehand so that your child knows what to expect.
